The Laboratory of Technical Engineering and Oscillations of Department of Mechanical Engineering & Aeronautics, University of Patras, covers not only Basic Engineering courses of Concluded Data, but also Biological, Physical and Mechanical Systems. It offers a comprehensive study on various scientific fields, from the mechanics of composite materials and the non-destructive control of materials to Biomechanics, the experimental characterization of biomaterials and Biomimetics. Students of all levels can obtain knowledge related to these subjects in the context of the specialization offered by the Department of Engineering, Materials Technology and Biomechanics.

The Research Activity of the Laboratory covers the scientific areas of Computer Engineering, Composite Materials and the Non-Destructive controls and monitoring materials and constructions operation. However, those are not the only Activities going on in the Laboratory. Academic fellows, researchers and students are working on Cell cultures growth and Tissue regeneration as part of Biomechanics and Biomimetics researches, that are being carried out in the Laboratory the past few years.
